Assessment task details
The purpose of the assessment is to report on an experiential learning cycle, activated by your learning diary entries (the identification of specific organising or leading tensions and challenges encountered in your workplace). After a brief description of the challenge/tension, you must analyse the situation using some of the theoretical lenses and formulate a plan for action.
The report should include three sections:
1. In the first part of the report, you need to identify a specific issue that you need to tackle in your organisation, that has either to deal with managing organising tensions (e.g. the need to balance short and long term-results; or to balance quality and productivity), or with exercising responsible leadership (e.g. managing conflicts between different stakeholders, managing life/work balance, etc.). For this, you can draw on one of the challenges you identified in your Reflective diary entries for weeks 1-4.
2. In the second part of the report, you must build on the content of the online modules, which also includes multiple knowledge resources (readings, talks, diagnostic tools etc.) to provide an analysis of the situation (causes, dynamics, possible developments, constraints etc.). 3. In the third part of the report, you must devise a plan of action, based on your analysis and on the insights you gained in the course, that can be implemented in order to tackle the issue.
